Co-pastor (with my wife) at a medium-sized congregation in Lancaster County, PA. Daughter is jr in college; son is sr in high school - ie, "empty nesters" pretty soon.
Pretty traditional congregation in a VERY traditional community - church is in local historic district, to give you some idea of our cultural context. We've been pastors or 25 years, the last 11 as co-pastors here. Intrigued, challenged, unsettled, and excited by the likes of McLaren, Bell, Hirsch and Wright. Wondering what it all means in our setting - or if even possible in our setting.
