  2. Melissa Lynn DeRosia says:

For those of us on Twitter, such a great way to keep in touch. Mind sharing your twitter identity? Mine is melissalynn24

  3. Leon Bloder says:

Can’t wait to see what happens next and to do whatever I can to be a part of it. My twitter identity is lbloder. Very imaginative, I know.

  4. Drew Tatusko says:

    i speak “tweetish” @ http://www.twitter.com/dtatusko

Also, FTW, the group representation is 33% women to 66% men. it would be nice some day to see 50/50 or better…! outreach to more ethnicities as well? just stuff to consider as we move forward (coming from a suburban white guy).

  5. Drew Tatusko says:

    I meant FWIW there…

Drew we worked real hard at getting the level of diversity that we did. I encourage all CG members and all Presbymergent folks out there to actively seek a deeper involvement of underrepresented voices in this conversation. We need the diversity of voice, experience, and talents in order to transform the denomination towards the vision God is calling us. I pray one day we will have to find tech savvy, white males to add a diversity. I am well aware of my male whiteness and hope that I may no longer be required to serve in the capacity I am currently. Let this read, if there is anyone else out there more qualified than I that is willing to do what I have been asked to do that represents a greater diversity please contact me.

  7. Neal Locke says:

    I’m a certified twit. @mstrlocke

I’ll second Drew that we need to keep working at diversity, and also Ryan that we were very intentional about doing everything we could this time around, too. My hope is for Presbymergent to eventually represent broad diversity in gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, and also vocation (esp. presbyterian laity).

Step number one in that is making it a very publicly stated intent. Step two is becoming the kind of community that welcomes diversity enthusiastically, and goes outside it’s boundaries to seek it. We’re about halfway between steps one and two, I think.

Anyhow, welcome to the new (and returning) CGers! Looking forward to joining all of you in conversation.

  8. Chris says:

I echo the hope for more diversity. Looking forward to being a part of the conversation for another year, especially as far as Presbymergent NCD stuff goes. I twitter, too: @brwnchrstpher .

  9. Sarah Erickson says:

blessings to each one of you in your work together and thanks!

  10. dtatusko says:

Thanks all. And note that I said that not to be critical, just to put that part of the continued conversation out there for our mutual consciousness and edification.

    Peace.

  11. I am a twit. http://twitter.com/chelleyarbrough

I have a lot more to say, but I find myself decaffeinated and therefore mute at the moment.

  12. Eric Ledermann says:

God’s blessings all of you! Sorry I couldn’t continue on the CG. Keep us all posted out here, and thanks for your work!
