All these looks like the 60's. The Swiss designs are more modern. You'll want a logo that remains strong 10 years from now. Designs are expressions of the meaning. None of these tells me what Presbymergent is and still don't know what it is. I would design a logo to illustrate what Presbymergent is so the viewer wouldn't have to look up it's meaning.

i know this was last year's conversation, but i find myself drawn back to some of these images and would like to use some of them as backgrounds in worship and/or watermarks on bulletins.

i don't want to rip off an artist though. so can folks give me a green light if they are okay with the use of the creations in worship

especially 1 and 10-14.

Jeff,

Like I said before, I think most of them are too big. 5, 7, and 15 seem to be the only ones of reasonable size, and I like 7 the best of those.

I do really like 1, but I can't tell what it is (it looks cool as a design, but isn't a good logo, in my opinion), and I also really like 14, but again, there's the size issue, I think. (But if I didn't feel like 14 were too big, it'd probably be my favorite-- I do like the concept)

Some of the others are ok, but several I'm not really attracted to at all.

As far as 7 resembling an oil can label, I think quality graphics are important, but can't we critique art without hurling insults? I'm sure there are more constructive, less hurtful ways of criticizing others' submissions.

How do you vote for the variations of 14? I like the ones without the text best.

What's the attraction to #7 ? Looks like it belongs on a gum wrapper or oil can. 14 is the best with a clear message.
