A Presbymergent Event Update…
For a while now the topic of having a formal “Presbymergent” conference has been discussed at length. A couple organizations have teamed together to make that a reality, this October in Pittsburgh.
Always Reforming - Emergence in the Presbyterian Church is a two-day event this October 12th-13th sponsored by Presbymergent.org, Emergent Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and the Presbyterian Student Fellowship of PTS. It will include presentations by John Franke, Adam Walker Cleaveland, Karen Sloan, Nanette Sawyer, Vera White, BJ Woodworth and others, smaller breakout gatherings, an “un-conference”, and of course food and fellowship.
