Twelve soggy (seen the news?) presbymergents gathered for feast and fellowship today in the upper room (appropriately) of the Home Plate Grill, as a prelude to the Presbyterian Global Fellowship conference in Houston this weekend. Folks from Solana Beach, Memorial Drive, Kirk in the Hills, Peachtree, and the Atlanta NCD Comission joined Karen Sloan and me for rambling discussion on topics ranging from churches within churches, to worship culture, to emerging church sustainability, and more. Stories were shared, questions raised, and new friendships forged.
For those here in Houston with us, feel free to chime in in the comments section with your thoughts on our time today. (Feel free to chime in even if you’re not here with us).
Tomorrow I’m going to Chris Seay’s session, “The Emerging Church Discussion: Views on the World & Faith” and John Crosby’s, “Worship & the Emergent Culture.” I’ll try to post another update then.

What’s the name of the Atlanta NCD?
