It will be "reformed-light" - meaning won't fight over it at all. I planted a church in Midtown, Atl around 9 years ago...and I am definately not "modern". We want to hold close to the apostles creed, observe many of the ancient traditions, be transformative of individuals and community through Christ...and be real people wanting to walk in the way of Christ. Then again, being in the shadow of Duke University, there should be progressive pastors (and churches?) right there in the Durham area. I do enjoy an occasional visit to Duke Chapel http://www.chapel.duke.edu/home/ for more progressive inspirations (heard James Forbes there on Pentecost Sunday several yrs ago.) Neither of these churches are particularly "postmodern" -- but both would be "friendly" to emergent folks. Frankly, I'm more concerned that people find something "solid" and "real"--along with being Christ-centered & missional of course.
