As this community continues to develop with all of these great posts and contributions, we’d also like to begin a bit of a “redesign” process and shape the look of this site into something a little more fitting for our community. There was a post during the first week of our discussion about looking for people who might be interested in helping out with a WordPress template design.
I volunteered to help out and now I’m looking for any additional input people have for this site. I’d love ideas for the “look”, whether that comes in the form of comments or even some graphics you might want to throw together. I’ll try to take these into account and begin working on the design over the next few weeks, hopefully.
Feel free to email me any comments or ideas, or post them as comments here. Thanks!

seth, i think the biggest suggestion that I would offer would be to go to headlines or partial posts, so more posts would fit in the window. a good problem to have with so many folks offering the 2 cents.
Hi Seth. This may be too far down the road if we’re only considering a re-design of the wordpress theme, but I think that Presbymergent.org could at some point expand into more than just a collaborative blog. Some of what we’re doing here might lend itself to community forums (i.e. PHPbb), a wiki-based manual for developing emergent gatherings (i.e. MediaWiki) or even an article rating system (i.e. slashcode). Just some thoughts.
As for the wordpress theme, there are probably some good plugins we could use, like an upcoming events calendar (for seminars, conferences, and gatherings), and possibly a polling plugin. I like a feature on Adam’s pomomusings.com that allows readers to select a checkbox to be notified of comments to a particular post via email.
